Abstract

Student engagement and excellence through student choice, buy-in and challenge can be accomplished with well-designed STEAM Projects. This project in boat design included: Analytical Geometry, 3-D Printing, Set Theory, Programming Basics, Iterative Design, Physics of Fluid Dynamics and Buoyancy, Workflow, Project Management, Design Feedback, Marketing (Images, Copy, and Selling Ideas) and Public Speaking.
